I thought it'd be a good lesson on how NOT to waste time playing with ratchets and wrenches when removing a bent up fender.I cut the fenders all the way around the body seam and left about an inch or so ( not terribly straight mind you, this is destruction after all ) , Then for the sake of SAFETY I took the impact wrench out and took out the bolts holding the fender to the body to remove the sharp metal edge.
This was a very quick operation considering I was also using a 14 yr old girl to do a bunch of the work.
The reason for this order of demolition was speed, nothing else.I wanted to get to the fun part!
Fine cuts were needed to cut out the next part, The body area forward of the door (U.S. Drivers side) to expose the defroster ductwork, and give a good look at what most of us never see.................interested yet?....
